Phillipines Relief Action Plan:

• Contacting schools to determine needs in worst hit areas
• Documenting specific needs for books and materials by grade level
• Contacting vendors to see if they will donate contextualized RP books or sell them to us at cost
• Determining costs for rebuilding and replacing equipment
• Prioritizing needs for initial funds
• Packaging our stock of magazines and books for distribution
• Offering Manila convention scholarships for teachers in the worst hit schools
• Revising some of convention schedule in Manila, Davao, and Bacolod to focus on stories of God’s faithfulness in tragedy
• Initiating relief efforts within the country. Manila area schools are assisting with clean up
• Channeling the missions’ offerings from the four October Teacher’s Conventions in Indonesia to be sent to the Philippines, This may also be done in Guatemala and other international locations
• Developing fiscal guidelines for giving to specific needs in schools
