New Format, New Focus
In accordance with the historical roots of the International Institute for Christian School Educators (IICSE) and the purpose of the Lowrie Center, IICSE is now taking a greater focus: the training and preparation of newly appointed administrators and teachers for their unique roles within the Christian school movement.
Two tracks will be offered by a lineup of experienced faculty: a track for Leadership Development and a track for New Teacher Induction.

Weather conditions and dress
Columbia is rather hot and humid in the summer, but all the facilities are air-conditioned. Business casual is the usual attire for all the sessions, including the Wednesday night banquet. However, delegates should also pack appropriate attire for any recreational or outdoor activities they plan.

Location
CIU is located on Monticello Road (SC 215) north of I-20 in Columbia, South Carolina. The closest airport is the Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), in Columbia. Delegates receive round-trip airport transportation to CIU on Saturday and Sunday and back to the airport on Thursday or Friday.
