For individual followers of Jesus Christ, the phrase “Seek ye first the kingdom of God” (Matthew 6:33, KJV) literally means to seek the rule of God in all of life. For ACSI, what does the theme “first things first” mean corporately? Our mission is to enable Christian educators and schools worldwide so that students will become sold-out, full-throttle, fully prepared disciples of Jesus Christ. That’s what we do. Every child in the world should have the opportunity to receive an education that is consistent with truth. To put first things first means that we will put the will of God above all else and we will focus on His Son Jesus Christ. And God’s wonderful promise in this verse is that if we keep first things first, He will bless us and meet our needs.
