How does the Children’s Tuition Fund of Pennsylvania operate?

The Fund operates in two distinct roles:

  1. Undesignated donations: Scholarship dollars may be donated to the general undesignated fund. These donations are used to provide financial need-based tuition assistance to all eligible applicants from Pennsylvania ACSI member schools. Scholarships awarded from this category are limited to the neediest of families. This is accomplished by setting financial eligibility at the Federal government guidelines for the free and reduced lunch program. This process has been adopted as a biblical pattern of each was given according to his need as recorded in the book of Acts.
  2. Designated donations: Scholarship dollars may be donated with a designation for an approved Christian school. These dollars are passed on to the designated Christian school to be used for tuition assistance based on approved guidelines submitted to the Children’s Tuition Fund of Pennsylvania.
