ACSI Short-Term Missions (ASTM) exists to enable Christian schools to advance their mission by providing trips that glorify God and expand their students’ worldview. These mission trips are designed for schools to take students in grades 9–12 to serve cross-culturally in order to further their individual spiritual formation. ASTM works with schools to come up with the best dates and destinations for their needs. We take care of all of the logistics so team leaders can focus on their students and the ministry aspects of the trip.
The ASTM distinctive is that we connect teams to a member national school in one of ACSI’s five international regions through our school-to-school (S2S) mission trips. Christian schools in Latin America, Africa, Hungary, Romania, Thailand and Ukraine are blessed through the work and ministry projects that mission teams provide. Teams also have the option of attending summer camps in Russia and Ukraine. These camps provide opportunities for students to share Christ’s love with children from all different walks of life.

ASTM Offers Full Trip Planning and Support
Through leader training, a planning manual, and other services, ASTM will provide support as you lead your team on a life-changing adventure. ASTM takes care of your:
- Trip schedule and daily itinerary
- Air travel arrangements
- Travel Insurance
- Visas for Russian teams
- In country transportation
- Room and board
- Translator needs
- Ministry opportunities
- Work project
ASTM also works with trip coordinators in the host country who provide your team with logistical and spiritual support. Most of the time, coordinators accompany your team for the duration of your trip.
Short-term mission trips can be life-transforming for your students as they step out in faith and experience the joy of being a part of God's global mission. Students gain a much broader and deeper understanding of God and the world as they share His love and build relationships across cultural and language barriers. Schools are blessed as they serve a sister Christian school in another country.
