"It has been a blessing for my son to be a part of Timothy Academy Christian School. He has learned many things through God. He has grown emotionally, physically, and spiritually through this school. He is learning about God and the Bible. I am happy as a mother that there is financial assistance for families that cannot afford it. You give hope and belief in what you do for children and families. Thank you."

School participants for Designated Fund status must:
- Meet the requirements for General Fund approval
- Provide a written copy of tuition assistance guidelines used by the school
What is the cost of participation?
General Scholarship Fund participation costs nothing. All that is needed is to complete the CTF of PA school registration forms showing, at the least, participation in the STAR program.
Designated Scholarship Fund participation requires no up-front fees. The CTF of PA retains only five percent of the funds received in your school’s name in order to offer the help described.

Frequently Asked Questions
How are scholarship dollars obtained?
The Children’s Tuition Fund of Pennsylvania (CTF of PA) appreciatively accepts contributions from private individuals, foundations, and corporate contributors. The CTF of PA is a Pennsylvania state approved scholarship organization and accordingly is eligible to receive contributions from corporations approved for Educational Improvement Tax Credits through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development
"Our family’s world changed suddenly three years ago when my husband was nearly killed in an accident and left disabled. We drew down our savings to pay for school, but this year we have six children in school and weren’t sure where we could cut back any further. Our school gave us ACSI paperwork to send in and we nearly cried when we learned they would help out. We thank God for your program. We remember the donors names and businesses and tell our friends of their kindness. We pray God will bless you for investing in a wonderful way. Thank you!"

How will our school’s families receive scholarships?
There are two ways your school’s families may receive scholarships from the CTF of PA.
- Families may receive scholarships awarded from General Fund scholarship monies that the CTF of PA has available to award yearly. These awards are limited to first-time Christian school students and to families that meet the federal guidelines for Free and Reduced Lunch. Once a student becomes eligible for a General Fund scholarship, he or she may receive a scholarship for a total of four years.
- Families may receive scholarships from monies designated for your school that have been contributed by businesses. These scholarship amounts are determined by your school and communicated to CTF of PA for disbursement of monies to your school from your designated account with the CTF of PA.
