I am serving my fourteenth year as a regional director for ACSI, five years with the Mid-America Region and now in my ninth year with the Ohio River Valley Region. We are located in the “heartland” of the United States, serving Christian schools in the states of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. I must say, “I thoroughly enjoy my work.” This enjoyment stems from a deep abiding relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and a peace that I am serving Him in my daily responsibilities. My enjoyment also derives from a strong team in our regional office. I am extremely thankful for their contribution to the ACSI Ohio River Valley Region ministry.
Christ sets the example in “servant leadership,” and through His equipping I serve. Galatians 6:10 states this goal rather well, “So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all, and especially those who are of the household of faith.” I trust that we can serve you-—and your school. We are a service organization which works with the Christian school in a variety of areas: Accreditation of schools, Administrator conferences, Athletic clinics/tournaments, Board member workshops, Certification of staff, Conventions, Consultation/advice, Curriculum, District meetings (biannual), Legal/Legislative information, New school assistance, Preschool training and Early Education Professional resources/materials, STAR (Steps Toward Achieving Recognition) Program Student activities, and Technology Summits.
