National Schools—All Other Countries

ACSI maintains offices in Guatemala, Paraguay, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Hungary, Romania, France, South Africa, Ukraine, Philippines and Indonesia.

If your national Christian school is not located in any of the above countries, then your area is being served through the International Office in Colorado Springs. Among our member schools outside of North America, we consider your ministry to the children of your community and country to be vital in raising up the next generation of Christian leaders. Internationally, ACSI serves more than 1300 Christian schools with a student population of over 300,000.

As a member of ACSI you will have access to a wide range of services, products, and benefits such as:

STAR Program: The STAR Program (Steps Toward Achieving Recognition) includes five steps toward achieving recognition, and it is designed to assist non-accredited ACSI member schools with a formal process of school improvement – a process that will lead the school toward recognition with ACSI.

Publications: ACSI offers a wealth of professional resources through its many publications. ACSI World Report, an e-journal specific for international schools; Christian School Education (CSE), ACSI premier journal containing articles addressing educational issues; Prayer Guide, a monthly e-publication containing daily prayer requests from member schools; K.I.D. Time, a monthly prayer guide for elementary level children.

Additional Services: Two professional development books are sent to your school for your professional library as part of your member benefits; discounts are given on all ACSI Purposeful Design materials ordered; a membership certificate suitable for framing; and your school information listed on ACSI website.

Our Mission: Enabling Christian Educators and Schools Worldwide to prepare students for life.

Our Vision: To be an association speaking with a viable and authoritative voice in education and consisting of effective Christian schools recognized as essential and contributing to the public good.

                (SO THAT)

Christian school students worldwide acquire wisdom, knowledge, and a biblical worldview as evidenced by a lifestyle of character, leadership, service, stewardship, and worship. Specifically, young men and women, products of Christian schooling, will mature to loving God with all their heart, mind, and soul (Matthew 23:37); growing in wisdom and stature (Luke 2:52); living in the world as salt and light (Matthew 5:13-14); and giving sacrificially of themselves and their resources reflecting the essence and love of the Christ who lives and dwells within them (Romans 12:1).

Our Goal: To assist your school in producing graduates who think increasingly with the mind of Christ, who are prepared to live lives of reconciliation in a needy world, and who…

  • Are well prepared in all academic disciplines
  • Have an understanding of people, events, and movements in history
  • Commit to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Are proficient in mathematics and science
  • Have a critical appreciation of languages and cultures of other peoples, dispelling prejudice, promoting interethnic harmony, and encouraging biblical hospitality for the alien, the “stranger”.
  • Know, understand, and apply God’s Word in daily life
  • Are empowered by the Holy Spirit
  • Personally respond to carrying out the Great commission locally and around the world in a culturally sensitive manner
  • Value intellectual inquiry and are engaged in the marketplace of ideas
  • Understand the worth of every human being as created in the image of God
  • Can articulate and defend their Christian worldview while having a basic understanding of opposing worldviews

“The aim of Christian education is to bring students to the place where they walk routinely and easily in the power of Jesus Christ.”
—Dallas Willard, Education for Renovation, Oct. 2004
