Completed applications, along with personal and professional reference letters, received by September 1 will be given first consideration for enrollment in the 2017/2018 class.
The Building Leader and School Capacity faculty will review all completed applications and reference letters received by the deadline. Decisions for the makeup of the class will take into account a variety of factors including geographic representation of the Northwest region, mix of school leader experience, school size and maturity, gender and racial diversity, and other factors deemed important to fulfill the objectives of the program. Admitted applicants will receive an agreement letter no later than September 1 with a requirement to sign and return the agreement within 10 business days.
Admitted applicants will be given the chance to indicate the desire to receive financial assistance. This program is being supported by grant funding from the Murdock Trust. The tiered tuition levels are designed to provide accessibility to this high-quality training. However, the geographic diversity of the region can create significant differences in travel and related expenses. Accordingly, applicants will have the opportunity to request a percent of assistance against the total for travel, lodging, and meals. Awards will be granted against budgeted dollars. Applicants will have five business days to accept the award or withdraw their application.
