Additonal Resources for Advisors
The Redemption Everyday Conference is intended for students serious about leadership. Although it is tempting to bring any student expressing a desire to attend, hoping the conference will spark some spiritual growth, this approach does not maximize the benefit of the conference for your school, and quickly leads to a conference environment where serious student leaders are distracted and discouraged.
Look for some resources this spring to answer key questions regarding student selection and post-conference integration:
• What are viable options for vetting students?
• What result can I expect by raising the level of expectation for students?
• What benefit will our school receive by bringing fewer students?
• How can I best prepare my advisors?
• How can schools maximize the momentum created at the conference throughout the year?
We intentionally infuse the conference with fun elements so that students can fully engage in the deeper content, but we are not willing to sacrifice the learning opportunities for the serious student leaders by allowing students to attend primarily to have fun.
If you have not attended the conference in the last 3 years, please email student_activitiesNE@acsi.org to receive these resources when they are available.
