Build a Flourishing Student Assessment Program

Come prepared to share and hear from your peers, as well as the ACSI Student Assessment Program team, about how to effectively improve student achievement utilizing various assessment options.

There is not a one-size-fits-all model when you consider school culture, standards, and curriculum. Schools might use admissions, placement, and benchmark testing, along with summative or college and career readiness assessments. Let’s put our heads together as practitioners to discuss which assessment model and data analysis approach is right for your school.

Bonus: Learn how a quick activity can help you better understand your students. What are their strengths and weaknesses? How do they learn? How can you help them?

Five Steps to Accelerate Fundraising at Your School Learning Lab

A recent national study on Christian schools reported that 97% of Christian school leaders believe that improving fundraising is crucial to ensuring the future of their school. In fact, seven of the top ten challenges they reported are related to financial sustainability, and can be at least partially resolved by increasing annual fundraising. At the same time, nearly six in ten said their fundraising needs substantial improvement. A successful fundraising program can empower you to provide more tuition assistance to families in need, improve teacher salaries, expand facilities, invest in technology, and open doors to other opportunities that may not be realized any other way. Five essential elements are universally important to every fundraising program. During this session we will dive into these five important areas and will outline a systematic way to help you structure, evaluate, and increase the effectiveness of your school’s fund development program.
