Darkess to Light Child Abuse Prevention Training

ACSI's Public Policy & Legal Affairs Department spent considerable time vetting a number of child abuse prevention programs and determined Darkness to Light (D2L) had one of the best products on the market.  We are pleased to bring the fruits of this partnership to ACSI member schools.  The "Stewards of Children" training through D2L is provided at a reduced rate of $5 per attendee for ACSI member schools. Research shows that 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused by the time they turn 18. D2L believes that adults are responsible for the safety of children, and they appreciate your desire to help protect the children in your community.

What is Stewards of Children?

Stewards of Children is a two-hour, evidence-informed training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for parents, youth-serving organizations, and other concerned individuals.  The training is web-based and includes an administrator dashboard to track the progress of your attendees.  A downloadable resource packet is also included along with workbook materials.
