NE Student Activities—Middle School Leadership Conferences
OneDay is an experience for student leadership teams in Christian schools. Students will come away from the conference with a better knowledge of who they are and how they can lead in their specific areas. Leadership teams should return with a specific Impact Project the group plans to implement back at their school and/or in their community.
SEGMENT ONE: Students discover their uniqueness and who they are in God's kingdom.
SEGMENT TWO: Students will be challenged to overcome obstacles and learn team concepts (personal, small group, and large group) through interactive activities and a key conversation.
SEGMENT THREE: Students and advisors will identify needs and opportunities for their specific school. Together the group will identify the talents and gifts needed to maximize opportunities, overcome obstacles and ultimately name and design their Impact Project.
What Advisors Have to Say:
~ "Our students were able to implement a school wide event in the near future that was generated from the ideas received at the presentation."
~ "Students were energized by the presenters who made their faith seem real."
~ "My students learned to work outside of their comfort zone, what the Bible has to say about being a leader and working with people they didn't know."
