Lynn is the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at ACSI, where she leads initiatives and develops strategies to address compelling questions and challenges facing Christian education. Prior to joining ACSI she served as a Christian school administrator and a graduate professor of education. Dr. Swaner serves as a Cardus Senior Fellow and is the lead editor of the books MindShift: Catalyzing Change in Christian Education and PIVOT: New Directions for Christian Education; co-author of Bring It to Life: Christian Education and the Transformative Power of Service-Learning; and editor of the ACSI blog and podcast host. She received her EdD from Teachers College, Columbia University, in New York City.
Ken has enjoyed a long career in education that included middle school/high school classroom teaching and Christian school administration. For the last twenty-three years he has taught masters and doctoral level classes in educational leadership at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Currently he is the director of the Doctor of Education Program. He has authored three books on leadership and school administration—The Helmsman: Leading with Courage and Wisdom (2006) and Navigating the Storms: Leading Christian Schools with Character and Conviction (2010), and Ten Practices of Effective Boards: A Unique Tale about Board Governance (2016). His most recent book focuses on the latest research on teaching, Teaching for Change (2017) He frequently speaks at conferences throughout the United States and has presented internationally to Christian educators and graduate students in Canada, Haiti, Cuba, Panama, the Congo (DRC) and Ukraine. Ken has been married to his wife Kathy for 44 years, and they have two children, Scott and Caitlin, who are both teachers. When he is not writing or teaching, he enjoys playing with his two German shepherds, kayaking, and running 5K events.
For over twenty years, Dr. Eckert has grown as a teacher because he is always learning --- from students, colleagues, family, research, risks, successes, and failure. His accomplishments include teaching fourth and fifth graders, science to seventh graders, and college students who are becoming teachers. As a Teaching Ambassador Fellow at the U.S. Department of Education in both the Bush and Obama administrations, Dr. Eckert worked on teaching-quality issues. This grew from his doctoral work at Vanderbilt University, and his desire to elevate and advance teaching. Dr. Eckert currently works with schools across the country to improve policies and teaching practice. Dr. Eckert serves as the Copple Chair in Christian School Leadership at Baylor University.

|Dr. Larry Taylor is in his twentieth year as the Head of School at Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) in Plano, Texas. Prestonwood Christian Academy serves more than 1,600 students enrolled at four campuses as part of its school system.. Dr. Taylor recently accepted the role of president of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and will serve in a dual role through this year. ACSI works with more than 25,000 schools in 108 countries and helps more than 5.5 million students worldwide receive a Christian education. ACSI also provides services to schools such as accreditation, legal/legislative assistance, and curriculum publishing. Dr. Taylor published the book, Running With The Horses, that helps parents raise children to be servant-leaders for Christ and helps to build a family plan. Dr. Taylor has been married to Delinda Rose Taylor for 34 years and has four sons, Bryce, who graduated from Yale University and Notre Dame Graduate School, Luke, a graduate of Princeton University, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Zeke, a graduate of Florida State University, and Chas, a graduate of Rice University, and currently in law school at the University of Chicago.||
For over 25 years, Dr. Thomas has served in pastoral ministry, Christian educational leadership, and most recently as Executive Director of the nationally syndicated radio broadcast, Know The Truth. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Baylor University’s Center for Christian Education. Motivated by the joy a person experiences when they invest in the life of another, Dr. Thomas’ central passion is to equip Christian leaders to lead from a posture of humility and Christ-like influence that will serve as a catalyst to effectively fulfill the mission of the gospel and that institution. Dr. Thomas is deeply committed to training leaders to purposefully engage the seismic shifts facing Christian institutions today and firmly believes that the effectiveness of an institution is most closely related to the quality, character, and training of its leaders. Dr. Thomas and his wife, Beth, have been married for 25 years and have three daughters, Emma, Eliana, and Abby.
For over 25 years, Dr. Bunn has served in the field of Education. He holds a Masters in Christian School Administration and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Bunn believes strongly in leadership development and teacher quality. He has shared this passion as an Adjunct Professor, School Teacher, Head of School, and Pastor. Currently, Dr. Bunn serves school leaders through consultation, support, and collaboration as ACSI’s Regional Director (South Central Region). Dr. Bunn has been married for twenty-seven years and has three children. His wife also invests in students and teachers serving as a teacher and school administrator throughout her career and calling.
