Music Events

ACSI music events give individual students and school performance groups an opportunity to discover their own potential for praising the Lord through music.

Band/Orchestra Festivals

ACSI Band/Orchestra Festivals give school instrumental groups the opportunity to benefit from the experience of being evaluated by a qualified Christian adjudicator. Bands and orchestras are adjudicated based on a rubric and not in competition with other groups. Band/Orchestras must be a functioning group within a member school, comprised of students in grades 3-6 (Elementary), grades 6-8 (Junior High), or grades 9-12 (Senior High).

Band/Orchestra Festivals will be offered as both in-person and virtual events in 2021-22. In-person Band/Orchestra Festivals are hosted by ACSI member schools; dates vary. Virtual Band/Orchestra Festivals are facilitated through our Student Activities E-vents platform online and the Submissions Deadline for all video recorded entries is April 29, 2022.

Choral Festivals

ACSI Choral Festivals give school choral groups the opportunity to benefit from the experience of being evaluated by a qualified Christian adjudicator. Choirs are adjudicated based on a rubric and not in competition with other groups. Choirs must be a functioning group within a member school, comprised of students in grades 3-6 (Elementary), grades 6-8 (Junior High), or grades 9-12 (Senior High).

Choral Festivals will be offered as both in-person and virtual events in 2021-22. In-person Choral Festivals are hosted by ACSI member schools; dates vary. Virtual Choral Festivals are facilitated through our Student Activities E-vents platform online and the Submissions Deadline for all video recorded entries is April 29, 2022.

Piano Festival

The ACSI Piano Festival is not a competition; each student is judged against a standard of excellence and not in comparison to other students. Participation is available to any student enrolled in grades K-12 of an ACSI member school, who is presently taking lessons from a qualified teacher. Each student is limited to one adjudication per category, with a maximum of two adjudications. Solo adjudications only.

Piano Festivals will be offered as both in-person and virtual events in 2021-22. In-person Piano Festivals are hosted by ACSI member schools; dates vary. Virtual Piano Festivals are facilitated through our Student Activities E-vents platform online and the Submissions Deadline for all video recorded entries is April 29, 2022.
