Music Events

ACSI music events give individual students and school performance groups an opportunity to discover their own potential for praising the Lord through music.

Band/Orchestra Festivals

SA Music Icon-Deep BlueACSI Band/Orchestra Festivals give school instrumental groups the opportunity to benefit from the experience of being evaluated by a qualified Christian adjudicator. Bands and orchestras are adjudicated based on a rubric and not in competition with other groups. Band/Orchestras must be a functioning group within a member school, comprised of students in grades 3-6 (Elementary), grades 6-8 (Middle School), or grades 9-12 (High School).

Band/Orchestra Festivals are hosted by ACSI member schools in-person; dates vary.

Worship Band

SA Music Icon-Green

The ACSI Worship Band Festival provides an opportunity for students in grades 6-12 to grow in their musical skills and in their walk with Christ through meaningful feedback and mentoring from experienced adjudicators and workshop leaders as they gather with worship bands from all over the country. This full-day event includes an adjudication process and mini-clinic as well as workshops covering a variety of topics including the technical aspects of music production and the spiritual elements of leading in worship.  The purpose of the workshop time is to educate, inspire, and encourage worship leaders as they develop. The festival also provides an opportunity for worship bands to lead in worship. During this time, worship bands will be able to take everything learned in the adjudication process and workshops and apply it as they lead. Attendees will also have time to interact with other praise bands and artists. Praise bands will be judged and coached on vocal and instrumental performance, stage presence, flow and presentation of the songs, and sensitivity and skill for leading others in worship. A panel of knowledgeable coaches will judge the event and give helpful feedback to each band. Other individuals may register to attend the workshops. There is no charge to sit in the afternoon audience during the festival. Bands of 2 or more members may participate.

Worship Band Festivals are hosted by ACSI member schools in-person; dates vary.
