Get Connected This Fall!
As a busy educator, you don't get many opportunities during the school year to spend time connecting with new ideas or with colleagues from other schools-let alone in environments where Christ is the focus. But this fall's ACSI Professional Development Forums allow you to do all those things.
ACSI has redesigned our annual professional development event based on your feedback. At a Forum near you (21 events are taking place this fall), you'll connect with ideas. Since education is your vocation, no doubt you feel renewed and refocused whenever you spend time learning something new. The joy of discovery isn't limited to our students! The PD Forums feature opportunities to connect with ideas as you hear from speakers who are on site and interact with colleagues who are presenting practical ideas during poster sessions. Additionally, you'll be able to choose from a variety of workshop topics that meet your needs.
Your Forum is also a place to connect with colleagues from other Christian schools in your area. Scripture says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17), and you can put that principle into practice this fall. For example, you may connect with a fellow grade-level teacher and find that the collegiality of experience, training, and passion opens doors for shared growth. Breakout sessions at this year's Forums will include built-in time for such interaction.
The best part of the Forums is that the primary focus is on Christ, the source of all wisdom and knowledge. At your Forum you'll find breakout sessions on teaching from a biblical worldview and presenters incorporating a biblical worldview into what they teach.
On a larger scale, you've probably experienced the beautiful unity that develops when believers come together at an event that has been covered in prayer. We expect that to be the case at these Forums, and we look forward to seeing what God will do in Christian educators around the nation as a result! Find a Forum near you and register today!
