2010 Theme: The Centrality of Jesus Christ in Education

In keeping with our mission to enable Christian educators to effectively prepare students for life, ACSI offers professional development specifically designed to benefit teachers and administrators within our member schools. It is also a good opportunity to meet with colleagues and continue to build a support network for your school.
Speaker: Philip and Karen Hills
Karen Hills is an Educator and Educational Mentor with 25 year of experience working with students from K to 12.
Philip Hills is the Executive Regional Director of ACSIWC.
Located at Prairie Christian Academy in Three Hills, AB
This ACSIWC-developed course introduces the fundamental elements of Christian schooling to Christian school teachers and administrators. A Christian educational worldview will be presented and then applied in classroom planning and implementation. Teachers will be given an opportunity to apply these principles in units that they will be teaching in their classrooms. Resources will be made available to enable teachers to get excellent support in Christian Education and to continue to grow throughout their teaching careers.
Upon course completion, participants will be issued a Christian Education Unit valid for ACSI teacher accreditation.
