Each year, approximately 180 Christian School educators attend the ACSI MB Teacher Convention which is located in Winnipeg. The Convention features three inspiring general sessions, eight workshops on distinctive topics pertinent to educators, and approximately 12 exhibitors.
Keynote Speaker: Josh McDowell
Josh McDowell’s cutting-edge ministry has been reaching the spiritually skeptical for almost four decades. A former skeptic himself, he has touched the lives of more than seven million young people in 84 countries. Josh has written or co-written 77 books on topics ranging from Christian apologetics to common problems facing youth; many are best-sellers and recognized as exemplary books on the Christian faith. He has been nominated 36 times for the prestigious Gold Medallion Award, winning it four times.
Josh joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ International in the early 1960’s. A few years later, he formed the Josh McDowell Ministry to realize the vision of reaching young people worldwide with the truth and love of Jesus Christ. Josh currently travels with the message of truth in the context of relationships, helping people of all ages form solid convictions based on Scripture in the face of a rapidly changing culture.
