 A Call for Seminar Leaders

We invite all teachers and administrators from ACSI member schools to submit seminars for consideration at any of our region's conventions. Please download the PDF below and either mail or fax the completed forms to our office. We look forward to receiving your proposals soon!

Important Instructions for ALL Scheduled Seminar Leaders

Arriving at Convention

Note: When you arrive, simply register at the Seminar Leader Table (look for signs at the venue). Do not go through the school registration line and do not receive any materials that come from the school registration table(s).

At the Seminar Leader Table, a packet with your name printed on the front can be obtained. Inside you will find everything you need to attend the convention and conduct your seminar including name badge, program (where you can find your room assignment), announcements, honorarium (if applicable), and more!

If you arrive at a time when the Seminar Leader Table is closed, your packet may be obtained at the ACSI information booth or book table, usually located in or near the exhibit hall (look for posted signs).

Sometimes schedule changes are made after the final Sneak Preview is posted on the web. Please check the convention program immediately when you arrive to verify your seminar schedule.

AV Needs

Every seminar room will have a projection screen. One table will also be placed in each room.

Overhead projectors are available upon request only! If you forgot to indicate your need of an overhead projector in your proposal submission, please

Any additional audiovisual equipment such as a PowerPoint setup, dry-erase board, etc., must be brought by the seminar leader. ACSI cannot be responsible for the security of any equipment brought to the convention.

Handouts and Course Notes

The ACSI convention budget is not large enough to reimburse seminar leaders for printed materials. ACSI does not require seminar leaders to provide handouts. Should you decide to produce handouts, all expenses for such materials must be paid by the seminar leader. You may wish to ask delegates from the same school to share materials and have them make duplicates when they return to their school.

Helpful Preparation and Presentation Pointers

Ideas, instructions, and advice for developing and presenting your session(s) are available in Preparing and Presenting Your Seminar. Also included is a copy of the ACSI doctrinal statement. We hope you will find it helpful as you prepare for the convention.

Thank you for your participation and we look forward to seeing you at the convention! If you have further inquiries, concerns, or special needs,
