I do not normally send a summer edition of this memo, but I wanted to share your responses to the May Snapshot Survey and inform you of our new membership renewal procedure.

We received 239 responses to this survey, yielding the following results that indicate your enrollment projections for the new school year:
- Enrollment is up: 112/239 47% projecting an increase
- Enrolment is holding: 68/239 28% projecting the same
- Enrollment is down 59/239 25% projecting a decrease
Membership Renewal:
We are moving to a predominantly web-based membership renewal process for our U.S. member schools for this coming school year. This new procedure should save you significant time and provide a higher level of accuracy in the completion of your membership renewal.
Our first renewal notice will be sent by email to the head administrator of the school (or system) and to the official school email address (if the two are different). In that communication we will provide easy instructions and a hotlink to the ACSI Membership Renewal page. Here you will log in and be connected to your school’s current (2004–05) membership profile. On this profile you will update the information, select method of payment, and submit.
You will not have to do any calculations, as this is completed automatically as you enter the updated information (enrollment by grade and any administrative leadership changes). We will be available by phone to provide any support, if needed.
If you are leaving your school and a new administrator is coming, it would be helpful if you would submit the new administrator’s name and email address by reply message to this communication, and we will update our electronic files.
We so much appreciate the work you do in Christian schooling and trust that this break will be refreshing and renewing for you.
New Member Benefit for 2005–06:
Beginning with this new school year, Christian School Comment, a monthly (nine times per year) parents’ letter, will become a membership benefit with no subscription fee for all ACSI member schools.
Each month we will publish and upload a new Christian School Comment to the ACSI website onto a webpage that is accessible to members only. As an ACSI member, you are licensed to download and copy it for distribution to your school families. Many schools have traditionally copied a monthly school newsletter on the reverse side.
Christian School Comment will be produced in a black-and-white 8½ by 11 format for ease of copy and reproduction. The first edition for the 2005–06 school year will be available for copy and distribution by September 1. You will receive specific instructions on downloading your school’s copy.
