ACSI Legal Counsel Working for You in Religious Child Care Facilities Lawsuit
As many of you know, St. Elizabeth’s Child Care Center was issued a “cease and desist” letter several years ago, and the case has gone through Commonwealth Court and Pennsylvania Supreme Court. ACSI has become involved in this matter since several of our member centers were issued similar letters.
The law office of Ball, Murren, and Connell has issued a statement that there would be no action taken until the Commonwealth Court now hears the “religious liberty claim” argued by St. Elizabeth’s, which was not resolved by the court. Therefore, the case is not over and at this time there is a “stay” or no action being taken in these centers to enforce licensure.
