The ACSI Student Activities Program seeks to encourage and inspire students toward a standard of excellence in leadership, communication, and performance by enhancing the academic and fine arts education program of the Christian school. It provides opportunity for the practical application and development of skills necessary for confident Christian leadership.
Each activity is planned to impact the educational and spiritual growth of each student, encouraging them to be a testimony to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each event also seeks to provide opportunity for Christian fellowship and positive interaction between students and teachers of participating schools.

Unless otherwise specified, each individual Student Activity has a specific handbook and forms available by selecting Student Activities Handbooks or Student Activities Forms in the right hand column. Please note that the handbooks are password protected, and your school must have registered and received the password from your Regional Office. Below are information documents and forms that are specific to the Ohio River Valley Region. This includes handbooks for Desktop Publishing, Math by Mail, Music Festival and Piano Festival.
Any information contained in the Addendums or forms supersedes that found in the National Handbooks.

Jr. High Volleyball and Soccer Results
The ACSI Jr. High Soccer Regional tournaments were held on October 10th at Lake Center Christian School. Four teams played with Lake Center Christian School taking the championship title. Mansfield Temple Christian placed 2nd and Granville Christian Academy took third place honors.
Lake Center Christian School also took top honors in the Jr. High Girls Volleyball Tournaments at Community Christian School on October 17th. Hearts for Jesus Christ placed second and Granville Christian Academy took third place honors.

Sr. High Volleyball and Soccer Results
The 2009 ACSI Senior High Soccer and Volleyball state finals took place on Saturday, October 31st in Xenia, Ohio. The top four volleyball teams competed at Xenia Christian High School and Xenia Nazarene Christian School. The number one teams from the south and north faced each other in the final bracket at Xenia Christian High School where Hearts for Jesus Christ took the championship honors. Granville Christian Academy placed second in the tournament with Mansfield Temple Christian in third place and Ohio Valley Christian School taking fourth place honors. Congratulations to these teams!
In soccer, the number one team from the north—Hearts for Jesus Christ—and the number one team from the south—Granville Christian Academy—played for the state soccer championship at the Athletes in Action fields on the same day. At the end of the first half the score was 1–0 in favor of Hearts for Jesus. Hearts scored three more times in the final half to walk away with the championship title for 2009. Congratulations to the members of both teams for a great game!

FCC Cheer Camps
Each year ACSI partners with the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders to provide quality cheer camps across the nation. FCC camps are exciting to me because it brings the integration of God’s Word into the sport of cheerleading.
