School Year 2011–12
Welcome to the Student Activities Program sponsored by the Association of Christian Schools International. Our mission statement for student activities clearly states the purpose behind all the work involved in the organization of each event: to develop and sponsor activities and events that enhance God-given abilities, gifts, and talents in the lives of our students. We believe that God has truly blessed these young people, and it is our goal to develop them into leaders who will love the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and body.
On this website are listed the activities that are sponsored by ACSI. You have the opportunity to review any or all of the activities being offered during the school year. If you have any questions about any of the information on this site or about how you can become a part of an activity, please contact your local ACSI regional office.
In closing, we want to thank you for being a part of the Christian education ministry and for developing strong Christians by participating in the ACSI Student Activities Program. We count it a privilege to serve you and your students. May the Lord bless you as you faithfully serve Him.
In His Service,

David M. Ray
Assistant Vice President: Membership/Student Activities

Purpose
The Association of Christian Schools International is an organization of biblically based Christian schools and colleges. Its mission is to provide leadership, programs, and services in order to glorify God through excellence in these schools. It is the Association’s desire that “...in all things He might have pre-eminence.” (Colossians 1:18)
Goals
The ACSI Student Activities Program seeks to encourage and inspire students toward a standard of excellence in leadership, communication, and performance by enhancing the academic and fine arts education program of the Christian school. It provides opportunity for the practical application and development of skills necessary for confident Christian leadership. Each activity is planned to impact the educational and spiritual growth of each student, encouraging them to be a testimony to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each event also seeks to provide opportunity for Christian fellowship and positive interaction between students and teachers of participating schools.
Schools begin their participation at the school level, which impacts the highest number of students. As students progress to the district and regional levels, they are challenged by interaction with students of similar interests and abilities. Parents, friends, and the general public benefit from the ministry of these students in music, speech, and academic programs.
The awards program for ACSI Student Activities affirms the individual effort of each participant, while recognizing those whose skill and ability provide an inspiration and a challenge to excellence for all who participate.
At the beginning of each school year, a packet of student activity information is sent to member schools from the ACSI regional office. The packet includes the Student Activities Registration Form and information concerning specific events. After registrations are received in the regional office, schools receive specific information and support materials to assist in preparing for the event in their schools.

Administrator Request
Dear ACSI member school Administrators,
ACSI is committed to offering quality programs for the students of our member schools designed to enhance learning in the classroom. It is vital to acquire feedback from participants (and non-participants) as to the value of our events as well as ways in which we can improve them.
The National Student Activities Team has developed a three- year cycle in which we will request feedback and evaluate the mission appropriateness of each event. This year (2011-12) we will be looking at the Art Festival, Science Fair and Geography Bee.
We need YOUR help to make this process work! Would you please forward the link to this page to appropriate people on your staff, for instance involved administrators, event coordinators or department heads, and ask them to take 10 minutes to complete one of the online surveys linked below. If you cannot connect directly to the link, please copy and paste the web address into your browser.
