Christian School Education (CSE) Submission Guidelines

Christian School Education magazine welcomes articles intended to enable Christian educators and administrators. Please follow the following guidelines to increase the likelihood of your article being published.

Each issue of CSE is thematically developed. Generally, we solicit authors to write on pre-determined topics. Unsolicited articles are sometimes published.

What should I write about?

We welcome articles that would be of interest to Christian school administrators and teachers. Please avoid addressing students, parents or others specifically.

How should I write it?

The article should be 800–1,400 words and written to an audience of primarily teachers and administrators in Christian schools.

How should I submit it?

The article must be in Microsoft Word and submitted electronically to the  or  We request that documents be free of embedded graphics—without columns or tables whenever possible.

What happens after I submit my article?

You’ll receive an email acknowledging receipt of your article. After a member of the editorial committee reviews your article, it will be filed in a “submitted articles” file. The CSE editorial committee looks to the file during the planning process for each issue. If your article fits the needs of an issue, we will contact you to discuss publishing. We will keep your article in the file for two years.

What else should I consider?

By submitting your article, you will be indicating that you agree with the following policy: CSE readers may reproduce CSE articles and columns for distribution to school faculty, board, and staff members. All articles will be made available on-line once the issue becomes a “back-issue.”

What if I am interested in writing on additional topics?

Email with a list of topics in your area of expertise. Be sure to include a brief biography and contact information. Your name and areas of expertise will be added to our “potential authors” list.

Thank you for your interest in contributing to
Christian School Education.
