Student Leadership & Apologetics Conference

Student Leadership & Apologetics Conferences are designed to equip students with an understanding of the role apologetics plays in their leadership influence. If we are going to prepare our students to engage their culture for Jesus, we must equip them with the Truth found only in God’s Word.

Student Leadership & Apologetics Conferences are created in partnership with K-12 schools and designed to give students in grades 7-12 (grades vary based on location) an opportunity to engage in whole group and breakout sessions and interactive small-group cultural engagement opportunities. Students will leave with a greater understanding of the vital role they play in their schools, communities, families, and the world as they discover their unique gifts and how they can use them to make Jesus known.

Join us on the beautiful campus of Pacific Christian Academy for ACSI Student Leadership and Learning's Apologetics Conference where students come together to strengthen their faith and equip themselves to defend it in today's confusing culture.

A mixture of praise and worship, engaging sessions, small group breakouts, and collaborative opportunities allow students to experience and explore challenging questions and discover answers grounded in Scripture. Together we will sharpen our minds, strengthen our convictions, and emerge better equipped to defend the truth of the Gospel.

Main stage sessions led by Brett and Erin Kunkle will equip students to understand how to utilize the truth of God's Word to impact and influence the culture.

Speakers

Kunkle

Brett and Erin Kunkle

Brett is the founder and president of MAVEN. He has more than 25 years of experience working with junior high, high school, and college students, as a youth pastor and as the Student Impact Director at Stand to Reason. Brett was an associate editor for the Apologetics Study Bible for Students, wrote the Ambassadors Guide to Mormonism, and co-authored A Practical Guide to Culture: Helping the Next Generation Navigate Today’s World. He received his bachelor's degree in Christian education from Biola University and his master's degree in philosophy of religion and ethics from Talbot School of Theology.

Erin Kunkle is a full-time stay-at-home homeschooling mom of five. She has a bachelor's degree in sociology with an emphasis in political science from Biola University. She has served in a variety of church ministry positions, from junior high and high school ministry to women’s ministry and children’s ministry leadership.

Brett and Erin live in Southern California with their five children and recently welcomed their very first grandchild. They have been married for 20 amazing years.
