As for us here in the Philippines, we've suffered A LOT from the two back-to-back typhoons that just ended—Especially our ACSI Philippines member schools in the Visayas region. Several Christian schools were flooded and many of their teachers evacuated. Some lost homes and some are severely damaged. We have one ACSI Philippines Board representative in the Visayas region (very active, has a big heart to help, and also a Pastor's wife) who is coordinating with our office in terms of seeking any form of donations to help member schools get back to their operations. We already communicated and got in touch with the rest of our member schools in other islands since last week. Some sent help, though little, but well-appreciated. Other member schools sent assistance to relatives and friends affected. Some teachers whose homes were swept away by the sudden rushing waters are currently being accommodated at one of our Board member's schools in Cebu.
