Senior Leadership

Association of Christian Schools International / ACSI / About ACSI / Senior Leadership

I am inspired by the faith, courage, and reverence for God by Christian educators around the world! It reminds me of the story recounted in I Samuel 17 about David defeating Goliath. In verse 29, David’s response to the inaction of his elder brothers and the Israelites especially encourages me. He boldly and nobly answers the call to action by asking, "Is there not a cause?”

I can think of no greater cause than to partner with you as you advance Kingdom education. We fully believe that authentic devotion to the Christian faith and academic excellence are mutually reinforcing. There are not two or three forms of excellence, but rather an ethos that is cultivated throughout every facet of our schools. Faith is not separated from learning but rather integrated intentionally, resulting in a distinctive Christian worldview.

Scholarship and learning become an integral component to the maturation process known as discipleship. Thus, becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ, the ultimate objective of the Great Commission (Matt. 28:16-20), is the prize for which we strive; it is the highest form of excellence! It is certainly conceivable that we could produce students with the spiritual depth needed to enter our pluralistic society and not fall prey to empty philosophies. Rather, they would be equipped to saturate the marketplace to which God has called them with confidence, purpose, and an eternal perspective.

ACSI’s ongoing mission is to strengthen Christian schools and equip Christian educators worldwide as they prepare students academically and inspire them to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We want to serve you as you continue to cultivate and sustain a flourishing school. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you—thank you for your obedience to God’s call on your life—you are indeed making a difference.

Sevenstar Celebrates 20 Years of Expanding Christ-Centered Online Education

Jun 30, 2026, 12:13 by Brittany Steward

Sevenstar, a ministry of ACSI, is celebrating 20 years of equipping Christian schools and families with biblically integrated online education that expands access to high-quality Kingdom education around the world.

Since its founding in 2006, Sevenstar has remained committed to equipping schools with flexible, biblically integrated academic solutions that help students thrive while supporting a variety of educational models.  Over the past two decades, Sevenstar has partnered with more than 600 Christian schools, expanding access to Christ-centered learning across the United States and internationally.

Today, Sevenstar offers more than 200 biblically integrated courses for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, including core academic subjects, electives, world languages, Advanced Placement® courses, dual credit opportunities, and credit recovery. Sevenstar enables schools to expand course offerings while providing students with individualized pathways to succeed.

Sevenstar CEO & Head of School Brett Henry shared the importance of this historic milestone.

"From the beginning, we have believed that Christian education is strongest in partnership with families, schools, churches, and educators who share a common conviction that every student is created in the image of God. All students deserve the opportunity to learn, grow, and flourish within a biblical worldview. Twenty years in, we're not looking back. We're looking forward with gratitude and expectation to what God will do next."

Sevenstar continues to play an important role in advancing Christian education globally. In 2022, ACSI acquired Sevenstar to accelerate its shared vision of expanding access to Kingdom Education worldwide. While Sevenstar remains a separate entity, its online learning solutions are an integral part of ACSI's educational resources, serving thousands of Christian schools worldwide.

As Sevenstar celebrates this milestone anniversary, the organization remains committed to equipping Christian schools with innovative, biblically faithful academic solutions that prepare students to impact the world for Christ.
