The upcoming Innovate Early Education Leaders’ Summit, taking place Oct. 22 at the DoubleTree Resort in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, will include a special panel on Faith-Based Christian School Policy.
Featured speakers on this panel will include Pennsylvania Rep. Kate Klunk, Randall Wenger, chief operating officer of the Pennsylvania Family Institute and chief counsel of the Independence Law Center, Autumn Faulkner, ACSI Director for State Policy Engagement, and more.
Faulkner shared, “This panel will give leaders practical insight into national trends, how proposed policies may impact their programs, and, most importantly, actionable steps they can take to advocate for their schools and the families they serve. Our goal is to ensure Christian early education leaders are not simply responding to policy changes but are involved in shaping the future of early education."
With bills and regulations being proposed that can strengthen or hinder faith-based programs, these experts will help unpack proposed policy reforms and actionable takeaways Christian school leaders can take to ensure their programs are postured for long-term success.
ACSI’s new Director of Early Education Jeannie Forrest shared, “I want our early education leaders to know that they have a trusted partner in ACSI as they navigate change and create environments where young children can learn, grow, and experience the love of Christ."
Additional sessions during the Leaders’ Summit will be led by Dr. Jenny Sue Flannagan, director of student teaching at Regent University, who will explore what meaningful biblical worldview integration looks like within early childhood classrooms and how leaders can best support teachers utilizing the Play, Debrief, Replay instructional model.
Flannagan will also deliver the keynote and lead sessions at the Innovate Early Educator Conference on Friday, Oct. 23.
