The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) was founded in 1978 when several regional U.S. school associations joined, becoming a united voice to advance excellence in Christian education. The leaders’ vision was to inspire, challenge, and resource educators and schools. First headquartered in La Habra, California, ACSI moved to an expanded facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 1994. Today, ACSI serves 25,000 schools in 108 countries.

For more than 40 years, ACSI has faithfully lived out its mission around the world:

To strengthen Christian schools and equip Christian educators worldwide as they prepare students academically and inspire them to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Since our founding in 1978, our vision has steadfastly desired that:

ACSI will become a leading international organization that promotes Christian education and provides training and resources to Christian schools and Christian educators.

As our mission continues, ACSI is renewing our commitment to Christian schools and educators to help them deal with today’s challenging times—characterized by seismic cultural shifts and disruption.

Today and into the future we will continue to assist, encourage and develop:

  • Schools that contribute to the public good through effective teaching and learning and that are biblically sound, academically rigorous, socially engaged, and culturally relevant; and
  • Educators who embody a biblical worldview, engage in transformational teaching and discipling, and embrace personal and professional growth.

Vision 2030

Our Vision 2030 strategic plan continues to build upon our three foundational pillars of Advancing, Access, and Advocacy through four new growth initiatives to globally support flourishing Christ-centered education. We will continue in bold and innovative ways, not only responding to critical needs before us today but also planning for the future of Christ-centered education tomorrow.

We invite you to join us as together, we advance the cause of Kingdom education today and into the future.

ACSI Announces Partnership with FACTS to Expand Scholarship Administration and Financial Verification Services

Jul 6, 2026, 10:21 by Brittany Steward

The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) is pleased to announce a partnership with FACTS, an industry leader in financial verification and scholarship awarding services.

Through this partnership, FACTS will support the ACSI Children’s Tuition Fund and the ACSI Education Foundation, which oversees the ACSI Children’s Tuition Fund, by providing expanded capabilities for scholarship application processing, financial verification, and fund distribution on a significantly larger scale.

ACSI Education Foundation president, Temple Weiss, emphasized the partnership's focus on simplifying the scholarship process for both schools and families.

"A defining strength of our approach is making complex processes simple for both schools and families. Through our partnership with FACTS, we are streamlining scholarship and financial aid by integrating trusted systems that schools already rely on with our fully compliant, school-first platform. For families, it creates a seamless experience and removes barriers to applying for scholarships.”

The partnership will help streamline administrative processes while increasing capacity for scholarship management and fund distribution.

Matt Richardson, FACTS Director of Scholarship Programs, highlighted the power of combining trusted expertise and proven systems to support families and schools nationwide.

"ACSI and the Children's Tuition Fund have built a strong track record serving students, families, donors, and schools, and we are honored to partner with them as the federal scholarship landscape expands,” Richardson said. “FACTS brings the infrastructure, scale, and operational experience that scholarship programs need to grow with confidence. Together, we can help more families access the education they want for their children—with a process that feels straightforward at every step."

About the ACSI Children’s Tuition Fund:

The Children’s Tuition Fund (CTF), a ministry of ACSI, is a national scholarship granting organization dedicated to advancing educational freedom for parents seeking a Christ-centered education for their children. With more than 20 years of experience operating scholarship programs across multiple states, CTF has a proven track record of connecting contributors, schools, and families to expand access to high-quality Christian education.

CTF partners with individuals, businesses, and schools to facilitate tax credit-based contributions that generate scholarship resources for students to receive a Christ-centered education. CTF is well positioned to significantly expand access to Christian education through the new federal Education Freedom Tax Credit opportunity. Through its relationship-centered approach, CTF supports both schools and families to help transform lives to make a lasting, positive impact on the world today and for generations to come.
