Increasing Access to Professional Development

FSi

Flourishing Schools Institute (FSi)

The Herzog Foundation will invest in the ACSI training model by covering the cost for a limited number of educators to attend the annual Flourishing Schools Institute in Dallas/Ft. Worth on February 17-19, 2026. This will include the cost of registration, two nights of lodging for each attendee, and event-provided food.

U.S. member schools can register 10 individuals from their team on a first-come, first-served basis now through September 30. Should a school desire to bring more than 10 team members, please submit your information to be added to a waitlist. The Herzog Foundation grants professional development for U.S. educators. If your school is located outside the United States and you would like to attend, please submit this form. Not a member? Consider joining today.

FSi will have tracks to equip Christian educators, including heads of school, teachers, and operational staff. The Herzog Foundation’s support of ACSI’s annual FSi recognizes that the "whole" of the whole-part-whole paradigm is the beginning point of a roadmap to deeper level training on the philosophy of Christian education.

Whole Part Whole

ACSI is committed to grounding our schools and educators on the philosophy of Christian education. Our objective is to provide ongoing training for administrators, teachers, board members, operational staff, and parents so that the philosophy is deeply embedded into every part and practice of a school. The synergy between the Kingdom education philosophy and the people who impact the culture of a school is a distinctive factor for ACSI’s members.

The Flourishing Schools Institute (FSi) trains all school stakeholders using a very specific whole-part-whole training paradigm. Without this holistic approach, Christian schools will have some parts of the school at the flourishing level but be at risk of having some parts of the school void of a Christ-centered philosophy and practice. Following the annual FSi, both organizations will collaborate to provide member schools with access to the Foundation's existing best-in-class trainings, combined with ACSI's current Flourish Deeper events. The purpose of these professional development events will be to drill down on specific parts and positions of a school.

Launching Christian Schools

Partnership To Support Emerging Schools

Throughout ACSI’s history, our comprehensive process has helped train hundreds of school leaders with proven methods and valuable support materials to launch new schools. Through this new partnership, ACSI will integrate its research-based content and assigned ACSI mentors into the Herzog Foundation SchoolBox IT platform, designed to support emerging and new schools. This will potentially revolutionize and streamline the startup process for new Christian schools.
