One-Day Legal Workshop: Laws Impacting Christian School Operations
Join us for our interactive training session in Raleigh, NC, where participants will work together on crafting school policies and scenario planning through case studies of school incidents. Topics covered include:
- Student issues from admissions through graduation (admissions process, conduct and discipline, records, parents, custody, and divorce)
- Policies and procedures, including handbook reviews
- School safety and crisis communication planning
- Supervision and negligence
- Nonprofit organization standards and board obligations
- Religious rights of the school and constitutional rights of the student
- CEU credit will be available
Time: 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Total 7 hours (6 hours of content + lunch)

Some days it feels like secular culture is winning. Yet, Scripture draws us back to a pivotal premise – God’s truth prevails. Even so, educators around the world are asking how to more effectively engage students in the spiritual formation journey and help develop deeper roots in the flourishing soil of a biblical worldview. ACSI and the Colson Center have partnered together to offer a “worldview retreat” to answer this leading question and provide valuable resources for: a) developing a Christlike culture, (b) facilitating healthy faith formation, (c) providing tools to engage secular ideology, and expanding best practice around a clear and consistent application of biblical integration across all subjects.
