Three professional development forums are coming to our region this fall! The theme, Reimagine Education, will be explored at each venue. October 12-13 is the date of the O'Fallon, Missouri location. Dr. Glen Schultz, director of Kingdom Education Ministries will be one among several speakers. October 23 (one day only) is when the Dallas/Ft. Worth area forum will be held. Finally, our San Antonio venue is October 23-24 and will feature Dr. Phil Johnson, founder of Global Next, LLC. Links to our forum sites will appear in future Snapshots.
All early educators: please take note of a professional development conference scheduled for Saturday, March 25 at Happy Hands Education Center, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Keynote speaker Dr. Barbara Sorrels, founder of the Institute for Childhood Education, will present Reaching and Teaching Children Exposed to Trauma. Visit the conference page to register. Does anyone have a good teacher observation form you use when it is time for yearly teacher observations?
I am interested to find out how different school assess Bible at the middle school and high school level. Which standardized test do you use for MS and HS Bible assessment? Do you assess at every grade level in middle school and high school? Does anyone conduct a comprehensive assessment at the end of the senior year as a high school exit exam? Are there ACSI standards in determining which grades need to assess Bible?
I would like to join an international Art show and only see them in the USA based on regions. Can I join since I am from America?
