In-Person Course Series

A revised and enhanced version of this course series is currently in development and will be released in early 2026.

This new series is designed to lay a strong foundation for teaching from an intentionally Christian perspective, combining engaging multimedia segments with flexible, in-person training sessions.

This group training must be led by an administrator from your school.

The series meets ACSI’s Christian Philosophy of Education requirement. Participants must complete all three courses to fulfill this requirement. Each course features high-quality video, audio, and readings from leading voices in Christian education. A Facilitator Guide equips a school administrator or leader to conduct the in-person sessions. Staff members will receive a range of digital participant resources, including a pre-assessment, post-assessment, syllabus, handouts, rubric, and a list of supplemental materials. Throughout each course, participants will create a personalized artifact that demonstrates their Christian philosophy of education, reflecting their unique teaching style.

  • Upon completing the course requirements, participants will automatically earn CEUs.
  • To encourage rich discussion and collaborative learning, we recommend a minimum of three participants per course, plus a facilitator.

Course Overview

Discover how to find true contentment and confidence in your finances through a biblical lens. In this course, participants will explore what Scripture teaches about money and its purpose, assess the connection between money and contentment, and build confidence in managing personal finances in a way that honors God. They will also strengthen their ability to communicate clearly about financial matters and demonstrate behaviors that reflect biblical stewardship.

Designed for group learning and individual reflection, this course offers both spiritual and practical benefits. It unites school staff around shared biblical principles of stewardship, generosity, and contentment—reinforcing how wise financial decisions can support the school’s mission. As educators grow in financial wisdom and confidence, they reduce personal stress, deepen community, and model healthy stewardship for students and families. When teachers and leaders operate from a place of financial peace and Christ-centered contentment, they not only experience personal freedom but also inspire the next generation to live with wisdom, trust, and faith.

Training Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe a biblical worldview as it relates to money and how it should be used.
  • Assess the relationship between money and contentment.
  • Develop confidence in the use of their finances.
  • Improve the clarity of communication regarding finances.
  • Demonstrate consistency of behavior that is pleasing to God.
