ACSI President's Statement on Dr. Paul Kienel's Passing

paul_kienelThe Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) is saddened to learn of the passing of its founder and president emeritus Dr. Paul Kienel. Dr. Kienel founded ACSI more than 41 years ago in response to the Lord’s leading to making Kingdom education available to as many children and families as desire it. A true servant leader, he leaves an enduring legacy of equipping and supporting Christian educators, children, and families around the world.

As a result of Dr. Kienel’s vision and dedication, today ACSI strengthens Christian schools and equips Christian educators worldwide and serves more than 25,000 schools in 108 countries, with more than 5.5 million students worldwide connecting to Christian education.

Dr. Kienel exemplified the life of Jesus by constantly reaching out for opportunities to serve. He had an enormous influence on the spiritual lives of millions of children and educators around the world.

I am humbled to serve in the organization that Dr. Kienel started and to have known him as a mentor and friend.

We are praying for his wife Annie, and the entire Kienel family during this time. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
