Refund/Fee Policy

Event registration and participation fees are non-refundable. Please review your school calendar to ensure your commitment to participate well before the 60-day cancellation deadline.

To secure your school's participation in an event (both in-person and virtual), you must provide confirmation to your Event Chairperson 60 days prior to the event. All Chairperson information is listed on your registration confirmation. Failure to confirm your participation to your Event Chairperson 60 days prior to the event may result in your school being moved to a waitlist to open participation spots for other schools. Additionally, failure to communicate to your event Chairperson and/or ACSI Student Leadership & Learning Coordinator that your school will not be participating may result in your school being charged a “Cancellation/No-Show Fee” (please see below).

If circumstances require your school to withdraw participation, it is your responsibility to inform the Chairperson and/or ACSI Student Leadership & Learning Coordinator.

Participation fees for in-person events (and Math Olympics) are due 30 days prior to your event. Participation fees for events hosted on the E-vents portal are due upon submission of your entries by the event deadline. Failure to pay these fees will affect your ability to participate in Student Leadership & Learning in the future.

Please Note:

If regional or global circumstances impact an in-person event, the ACSI Student Leadership & Learning team will communicate whether the event will be transitioned to a virtual event, rescheduled, or canceled. In these circumstances, school registration fees are still non-refundable. Student participation fees will be refunded if ACSI cancels an event.

Cancellation/No-Show Fee (Digital and In-Person Events)

To avoid a "Cancellation/No-Show Fee" of $200, which covers your school’s share of various event expenses, notify your event Chairperson and/or ACSI Student Services Coordinator at least 60 days before the event if you are unable to attend. Withdrawing within 60 days of the event takes away the opportunity for other schools on the waitlist to participate and makes it increasingly difficult for the Chairperson to plan for the event.
