The GCP empowers students to gain cultural experiences overseas while serving alongside local students as they share the Gospel.

Through Sevenstar Academy, students like Max can take classes ahead of schedule if they’re able, such as his high-school-level Chinese class. Plus, he can eventually earn a U.S. high school diploma even while in China.

Michael McNabb swore he was not going to be a teacher. As a young man, he planned to get a science education and work in the oil industry near his home city of Houston. What he didn’t plan on was the tug toward ministry he began to feel when he went away to college.

As a father and a lifelong Christian, I’ve witnessed firsthand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) captivates our imagination and stirs deep ethical debates within our community. Its influence is poised to reshape our families, faith, and the very fabric of society. I remember a conversation with my daughter where she asked “Siri” a question about Solomon from the Bible. Her innocent question underscored the importance of engaging with AI proactively and using it for good, in accordance with the Truth.

Dr. Taylor has been serving in education for over 30 years. He is passionate about training up this generation of disciples for Jesus Christ through Christian education.
Prior to accepting the President position at ACSI, Dr. Larry Taylor served twenty years as the Head of School at Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) in Plano, Texas. Prestonwood Christian Academy serves more than 1,600 students enrolled at four campuses as part of its school system.

Making Christ-centered education available and obtainable
ACSI is committed to making Kingdom education available to as many children and families as desire it, believing that such an education offers students an opportunity to grow in a loving relationship with their Creator, come to know His saving work through Jesus, and flourish in His Ephesians 2:10 calling for their lives. This commitment requires removing barriers to access for those who traditionally have not benefited from Christian school, as well as seeking out new ways to create access points to Kingdom education and the ability to thrive and be successful in that education—for all those who desire it.
Advocacy
Promoting and protecting Christ-centered education for today and tomorrow
As the largest evangelical Christian school association in the world, ACSI is by default viewed as the spokesperson for Christian schooling in the public square. In order to discharge this responsibility with excellence and seasoned speech (Colossians 4:6), and to equip our member schools to do the same, ACSI must invest in developing public-facing resources and forming strategic relationships with those working in the area of advocacy for Christian Education and for religious liberty.

ACSI Welcomes New Accreditation Director in the Eastern Division
Colorado Springs, CO– The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) is excited to welcome Linda Reedy as its new Accreditation Director for the Southeast territory of the U.S. In her new position, Reedy, alongside the ACSI Accreditation Team, will enhance educational excellence through the accreditation process within the Eastern Division.
She will begin her new role June 3.
Senior Director of Accreditation and Credentialing Stephen Deck is looking forward to Reedy assuming her new role.
“We're excited to have Linda join our team,” said Deck. “With her experience chairing teams and serving schools as a field director, she will be able to naturally transition into her new role. Linda will provide great service to our schools throughout the Southeast, as well as help drive the Accreditation Team's broader goals in support of our Vision 2030.”
Director of Accreditation USA Jamie Canterbury is also excited to welcome such a dynamic and experienced professional like Reedy to the Accreditation Team.
“I am thrilled for our schools to benefit from Linda’s knowledge and her support in their accreditation journey,” Canterbury said.
Reedy joins ACSI with more than 30 years of service in Christian education. For the last 
11 years, she served as the Academic Dean at Concord Christian School in Knoxville, Tennessee and was the Middle School and High School Principal for the 7 years there prior. In her career, she has also taught English, math, art, and Bible classes.
Reedy has served on domestic and international accreditation visiting teams for ACSI and as a commissioner in the Eastern Division. She also resourced her local Tennessee schools as an ACSI Field Director. Reedy has played a pivotal role in ACSI accreditation over the past 25 years and has assisted in the development of the new Inspire protocol.
She looks forward to assuming her new responsibilities.
“What a joy to be a part of ACSI, an organization I love, doing accreditation, which I love as well,” Reedy shared. “The Lord has led me through training grounds over many years, preparing me for this new adventure.”
